These are the terms and conditions which apply to your purchase of domestic/commercial related furniture products, accessories and other goods (“goods”) from the Haus Direct web site at hausdirect.com (the “website”). The website and goods are provided by Haus Direct, a company registered in England with a registered office at 185 Newgate Street Retail Store, High Street, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL14 7EL (“we”, “us”, “our”). When we refer to “you” and “your” we mean the user of the website and purchaser of goods.
These terms and conditions form a legally binding contract between us and you. Your acceptance of the terms and conditions is given when you purchase goods from us. You should read these terms and conditions carefully before buying anything from this website. We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions under which the website and the goods are provided. Any such change in terms and conditions will be effective to all new orders once included in the text of these terms and conditions and published on the website.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE WEBSITE AND THE GOODS
This part sets out some terms about information on the website, descriptions of goods and how you use the website. Separate notices and disclaimers apply to your use of the website. By placing your order with us, you are implicitly accepting these terms and conditions and also agree to the notices and disclaimers. We try to make sure that all information on the website, including descriptions of our goods, and listed prices, are accurate and correct at all times. However, mistakes do happen. We will try to resolve all information errors on the website as soon as reasonably possible, and if we reasonably think that such an error has affected your purchase of goods we will try to let you know. However, because we take these steps we will not be liable to you for any errors on the website.
You should bear in mind that buying domestic/commercial related furniture products and accessories over the internet provides a different shopping experience to buying in-store. In particular you acknowledge that:
• The colours which are shown for the goods on the website will depend on many factors including your display settings;
• All sizes and measurements are approximate;
• All goods are subject to availability - we may not be able to supply your order;
• Any delivery estimates given on the website or by email are guidelines only;
• The goods and promotions which are offered on the website may not be available in-store, and vice-versa.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your login details, password and all other details in relation to your account remain confidential at all times.
Please note lighting conditions during photography sessions and computer generated images can impact the appearance of the item. Photographs or images are for illustrative purpose only. They may not exactly match the product itself and are not always a true representation of the item you are purchasing
PURCHASING GOODS ONLINE
This part sets out some terms which apply to your purchase of goods from us through the website.
You make an offer to purchase a product from us (your “order”) by completing the staged process on the website as set out below:
• Adding product to your shopping bag
• Enter login details
• Enter delivery address details
• Enter billing address details
• Confirmation of order
Your order only constitutes an offer to purchase goods from us, and does not form a binding contract until accepted by us. Where you order more than one product your order contains a series of offers for each product individually. On receipt of your order, we will send you an order acknowledgement email to the email address which you provide in the order process.
This order acknowledgement email will contain your order number, details of the goods ordered. Note that this email is only to acknowledge that your order has been received, and is not acceptance by us of any offers to purchase goods. We must receive full payment of the price of the goods before we can accept any offers. Where you select to pay by credit or debit card we will process the payment at any point to secure the allocation of goods and/or at the time of preparing your goods for despatch.
An offer made by you to purchase a product shall only be deemed to be accepted by us when we despatch that product to you and send you an order despatch email which includes details of the product. We reserve the right to refuse any offers in an order prior to acceptance. If a product is not available we will include details of the unavailable product in the order despatch email. A product which is not available will not be included in the contract for a product which is despatched.
- If we cannot deliver the goods ordered by you due to insufficient stock, then you will be refunded or re-credited and we will notify you at the address given. Your refund will be made as soon as possible and normally within 28 days of the order. The Seller will not be obliged to offer any compensation for any disappointment suffered.
All prices and charges on the website are in the relevant currency which are present is prefixed at UK sterling/pounds only. Delivery charges will be applied based on the delivery address chosen and service selected and these will be displayed in the order process.
We aim to deliver your products within the guidelines provided which can be located on every product page and varies subject to the brand and location of the product. We do not always hold stocks of all items and rely on our manufacturing/distribution partners to release the goods on our behalf to yourself directly. In most instances our delivery is carried out in working days Monday-Friday, weekend deliveries at carried out at the discretion of the delivery team if available. We aim to execute the shipment of your goods using reputable nationwide based couriers, with the exception of any special orders which may come direct from our associated maufacturers or brand partners, please note timeframes for such pieces are subject to production timeframes at the time of ordering excluding and all deliveries exclude national bank holidays.
In the instance your delivery is outsourced we will do always monitor your orders progress despite us operating with these services using third party services, please can we ask that you ensure goods are reported within 48 hours of delivery acceptance should your products be faulty or damaged. Please note 'unchecked' at the time of acceptance should you not have the time to inspect your goods.
Bespoke items are exempt from our standard terms. Providing there is no fault, we cannot accept the return of these items.This does not affect your statutory rights. Other than where you act as a Consumer, you will be deemed to have accepted the Products 14 working days after delivery. Once accepted, you shall not be entitled to reject Products which are not in accordance with the contract.
WARRANTIES & LIABILITIES
You will be provided with the required information to claim under the manufacturer's warranties. In the event of a claim, you can in the first instance contact our customer care dept.
Products supplied by us come with a manufacturer's warranty of at least 12 months.
We do not provide any warranty cover against defects in his own right.
All other warranties, terms and conditions relating to fitness for purpose, satisfactory quality or conditions of the products whether implied by statute or common law or otherwise are excluded to the fullest of the law.
