NOTICE

Please note our prices can vary from product to product and brand to brand, we have different delivery prices for the services associated with different brands.  Prices may also vary depending on your postcode location along with the type and size of the product you are purchasing; this will be calculated upon check out.  We outsource our deliveries and communication for booking in your delivery may not always be the same experience.  We book in your delivery prior to dispatch regardless of the service selected.  

 

STANDARD UK DELIVERY

A signature is required upon receipt of your order. Always ensure you have enough space for the item you are purchasing. Deliveries to international locations are not serviced at this time. Delivery prices vary, which is dependent on the product. For the most up-to date delivery price for your purchase, please add the products to your basket and enter your postcode.

Although every effort is made to ensure stock information is up-to date, there are times when the item you ordered will not be in stock. We will contact you if this situation ever arises.

Please ensure your contact details are correct at the time of placing your order. You will be contacted to arrange a suitable date for delivery. Deliveries are made between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. If you are unable to accept delivery on the agreed date, repeat delivery fees will apply.

Certain UK locations are subject to a surcharge. For the most up-to date information for your location, enter your postcode at checkout.We are unable to deliver to Guernsey, Jersey,The Isle of Man,The Isle of Wight and The Orkney & Shetland Isles, Ireland/Northern Ireland at this time.

Please note that standard deliveries are usually 'one person' deliveries only and therefore assistance maybe required with the handling of your order.  Please can we also advise that you notify us should there be any restrictions for vehicle access to your property. 

Haus Direct reserves the right to change the standard delivery cost without prior notice.

 

2 MAN DELIVERIES

Select this option either if you require help moving your furniture purchase to a particular room in the house, or if your purchase is fragile. Additional fees apply. Always check your basket for the most up-to date price for this service.

 

24/48 HOUR DELIVERIES

Select this option if you need your furniture purchase quickly. Your order must be placed before 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday. This option is not available for weekend deliveries.

Please be aware that not all of our items can be shipped using this method & service. Check the delivery information for the item you wish to buy before purchasing. If the “2 Man Delivery” option is selected then this will not allow for the 24 hour service at checkout. This service is operated by one person only and is very limited in the service level offered. Please check with us should you wish to learn more and if this will be suited for your purchase.

 

PALLET DELIVERIES 

Please may we make you aware that from time to time the carrier appointed for your delivery maybe a third party service assigned by our suppliers whom may only offer standard 'kerbside' service whereby the item will be delivered on a pallet to avoid minimal handling and in the interest of protection to your item (s) during transportation.  

Please be aware that goods may be dropped off at street level and it will be your responsibility to move them from the pavement into the final place of installation, this can be confimred at the time of accepting your delivery booking.  

Please ensure that you are home/workplace on the designated day of delivery and that you have sufficient help to move the furniture into your property failure to do so may result in re-delivery charges.

Pallets are not always removed by the driver and therefore if your order is delivered using such means we would advise you to dispose of this yourselves.  We apologise if this proves to be an inconvenience however in order to facilitate a cost effective measure for the transportation of your order from its country of orgin it is likely this method of service has been applied as it may be the only offering and/or safest mode of ensuring the security of your purchase whilst in transit deemed to be best practice.  

Our standard delivery service is conducted by one person in a van or truck up to the kerbside. It is therefore very important to ensure suitable vehicle access and that you are physically able to handle the goods from the vehicle tailgate into your premises.

Please ensure that the consignment is checked before the driver departs. If there are any doubts as to the condition of the contents, please sign as ‘Damaged’ or ‘Unchecked’.  

 

DELIVERY ACCEPTANCE

When your order arrives, immediately inspect the packages for damage. Whenever possible, your inspection should be carried out, before, you sign for, and accept delivery. If this is not possible, please sign for your order and write or state “unchecked” on the delivery docket. Generally, it is normal for the box to show some wear. However, if the contents are clearly damaged, please refuse the delivery of your order and inform us immediately.

When signing the documentation of acceptance of goods from our home delivery partner you are agreeing to the condition of the boxes being handled appropriately and goods being delivered in good condition.  

Should this not be the case upon inspection please highlight this on the delivery notes and/or refuse delivery due to damage to your order/product (s).  We use third party transport services and in the interest of replacements we would advise you ensure acceptance of deliveries is based upon inspection of goods and satisfaction.  

Please note this does not affect your statutory rights.
